Bush ducks shoe thrown

The more I watch mainstream media the more I loathe them. Did anyone see the news reel of an Iraq newsman throwing his shoes at Pres. Bush? I laughed at first cause that is what I wanted to do to him after I read his comments from a interview, where he was asked if the bible can be considered a true or something to that nature. You know reporters are always trying to paint you in a corner whenever they can. What amazed be about Pres. Bushs' answer was that I never heard him say anything like this before, and now I know that he beleives the bible isn't true. Whoa...he doesn't beleive the bible is true, then what is? Yeah, I felt my houseshoe sliding off my foot so I could grab it to sling it at his head on my computer screen. What has he been basing his defense of Israel on?
Still the shoe being thrown at my Pres. made me mad. I remember when the troops rolled into Iran, and pulled down the statue of Saddam Hussein, the locals starting beating the statue with their shoes which seemed strange to me. Then I found out that it is the lowest form of disrespect a muslim could show to another person. So, this newsman was showing disrespect to my president. I can't wait to see what gets thrown at Pres-elect Obama when he goes over seas.

The Christmas Sweater

I just finished reading Glenn Becks, The Christmas Sweater. I loved it! During a time in the world where it seems like we have lost all human components of compassion, this book refreshed that in me. His story telling style was completly different from his other books, and had a sembelance of truths from his summer tour, Unelectable. I recommend this book to those who need to read a good book to usher in the Christmas season. Also check out his website, and click on the link where you can go and share stories of victory over life changing events in your life.
Next I will be reading Bill Oreillys, A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity.
